Here’s my take on the Simple Is As Simple Does challenge... 

It simply amazes me at what a few layers of cardstock can add to a card. Contrasting colours just make this cupcake pop.. pretty SIMPLE 😆

• Cupcake Bottom: Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake & Soft Suede Inks
• Cupcake Top: Grapefruit Grove, Flirty Flamingo & Watermelon Wonder Inks

Happy Birthday To A Coffee Person

I knew she absolutely loved this Stampin’ Up! Coffee Café stamp set and so I wanted to give it a bit of a feminine look 👀 

Well ... it just so happens that SU happened to have this card on their blog for ideas... but what do you do when you don’t have all the supplies required, “You Improvise”.

So I used the SU Stripes TIEF, Versamark and some clear embossing powder to give the striped paper... oh ya! 

I also used a generic Coffee Bean embossing folder for the white cardstock to add a little more texture...

All that to say my DIL loved the card 💕 along with a Starbucks gift card.
