Welcome to my blog. . . my name is Gail and I am the very proud mother of three grown sons. I live in the amazing Okanagan Valley and spend my days with my two fur babies, puttering in my garden, scrapbooking and a beginner at photography. There is so much beauty all around and to be able to capture it, take it and create your individual interpretation on paper is so therapeutic and brings me so much enjoyment. All the colours and textures of paper breath life into my world. That's probably why I love my flower gardens so much. All those brilliant colours and floral scents can get you lost for hours.
I am so thankful to God who created all this for my enjoyment. I am a true follower of Jesus and my journey in this life is to walk out His great love in a practical and tangible way. As the Beatles lyrics go "All We Need Is Love".
So glad to be back after missing last weeks colour challenge. So. . . here is my take on this weeks challenge. I tried to add interest to the page with some 3D effect butterflies tied together with twine, some glossy accents, brads, layering and lots of matting. Often when surfing the web I see these layouts with layer upon layer of gorgeous papers and I absolutely love them, maybe one day I will be able to do that too< wink >. Definitely something to challenge myself with!
